Single Estate coffee: taste the unique flavour of every origin

Choosing Single Estate coffee means choosing purity. Unlike a blend, which combines coffee beans from different countries, our Single Estate coffee is 100% Arabica, sourced from one specific region, plantation or producer. This preserves the unique qualities of its origin and lets you taste the character of the area where the coffee was grown.

The climate, altitude, soil and processing method all influence the final flavour. As with wine, we can speak of terroir, the combination of soil, climate and other unique aspects of a location.
Coffee from Ethiopia may surprise you with floral aromas and fresh notes of citrus and red fruit, while coffee from Peru has a softer body and subtle notes of chocolate and nuts. Tanzania is known for its lively freshness and elegant balance. Each origin therefore tells its own story in the cup

At De Zeeuwse Sommelier, we select only high-quality Single Estate coffees from producers who work with passion and craftsmanship to deliver quality. A large part of our range comes from Direct Trade partnerships (Farmers Direct). Working directly with producers not only brings greater transparency, but also ensures coffee farmers receive fair compensation for their work. In this way, every cup of coffee contributes to a sustainable future for the people who grow it.

Our Single Estate coffee beans are freshly roasted several times a week. Thanks to a carefully developed roast profile, the natural aromas and complexity of each coffee are optimally preserved. This creates a rich tasting experience in which the origin remains clearly recognisable.

We roast our coffee beans twice a week, so the coffee is always fresh.

Orders are shipped daily. If you order before 4:00 PM, your coffee will be shipped the same day.

Some varieties are roasted especially for you, which may result in a slightly longer delivery time. In that case, we will always send you an email so you know that your order is being processed.
