De Zeeuwse Sommelier is an initiative of Cor van Hilst and Michiel Hautvast. After nearly 25 years of experience with coffee and tea, we have a coffee and tea website with a Zeeland touch.
Let us introduce ourselves: Cor van Hilst opened our first shop in 1999. Before that, Cor worked as the director of a crisis shelter in Oss. Cor has always been interested in coffee and tea products. Cor is responsible for purchasing all products, daily coordination, administration, and processing orders. In his spare time, Cor is an enthusiastic gardener, and organic gardening is a constant theme in his garden.
Michiel Hautvast has been a co-owner since 2001. Michiel studied piano at the conservatory and later went into IT. Michiel works hard every day on the technical side of our online shop, making sure everything functions properly. He also processes orders every day. He, too, spends time in the garden every day and often goes out with his dog.
