No. 404 Rooibos Persimmon & Ginger
Kan de ophaalmogelijkheden niet weergeven
Soft, fruity and with a hint of spice
No. 404 Rooibos Persimmon & Ginger is a surprising combination of the soft, rounded taste of rooibos, the fruity character of persimmon and the warm spiciness of ginger.
Persimmon, also known as kaki, has a pleasantly sweet, fruity taste. Combined with ginger, it gives mild rooibos a surprisingly lively character. The ginger adds a little kick, while the fruity notes bring softness and roundness.
The result is a fruity rooibos tea with a warm, spicy undertone. A special blend for anyone who enjoys drinking rooibos in a different way.
Rooibos with persimmon and ginger
Rooibos makes a lovely base for flavoured tea. Its naturally soft, mildly sweet taste pairs beautifully with fruit and spices.
In No. 404, the fruity notes of persimmon blend beautifully with the characteristic warmth of ginger. The result is a tea that is both soft and lively.
The taste is approachable and not overly sweet. First, you taste the blend’s mild, fruity side, followed by a subtle spicy note from the ginger. This makes the tea appealing both to lovers of classic rooibos and to anyone looking for something new.
Persimmon: fruity and distinctive
Persimmon may be less familiar than apple, orange or peach, but that is precisely what makes this tea so surprising. The fruit has a soft, sweet taste that complements rooibos’s mild character beautifully.
Ginger then adds contrast. Its warm, mildly spicy taste gives the fruity blend a little more intrigue and makes every sip interesting.
No. 404 Rooibos Persimmon & Ginger is therefore a tea for those who enjoy fruity flavours but aren’t looking for a classic fruit tea.
Soft rooibos. Fruity persimmon. A hint of spice from ginger.

Still have questions? Contact us via our contact page.
How is the tea packaged?
All our loose-leaf tea is packaged in airtight (sealed) bags. The packaging, of course, includes a description of the tea, brewing instructions, and ingredients.
We package your tea with each order. This means that we create and fill the packaging to order.
How long does the tea keep?
Loose tea stores well. In its sealed packaging, the tea is at least good until the date on the package. For pure tea, this is often 2 years. For flavored tea, 1.5 years.

Sustainable packaging
To help protect the environment, we reuse as much used packaging material as possible. If boxes are still sturdy enough, we use them to pack orders. Some boxes may look a little more "used" than others. If a box is no longer sturdy enough, it is shredded and used as filling material to protect items such as porcelain and earthenware.
If a box looks damaged when it arrives, please let us know as soon as possible. Ideally, please email us a photo so we can take a look with you.
How is tea best stored?
Simply put: store in a cool, dry place.
It is best to store your tea in its closed packaging at room temperature. But once it is open, you can seal the packaging tightly with, for example, a clip or clothespin. But this is neither very nice nor practical.
It is important that as little oxygen as possible can get to your tea. So a sealable tin or jar is handy. And it looks nice.
Light is also not good, so bags with a window or glass jars are less suitable, unless you store them in a dark cabinet.
Delivery time
For almost all items, the delivery time is 1 to 2 business days. On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, all packages are dispatched. If an order is placed before 4:00 PM on one of those days, it will usually be delivered the same day.
For coffee, sometimes (when the coffee still needs to be roasted) we need a little extra time. You will then receive a super fresh product. We opt for the highest quality, and that takes a little extra time.
Pay
You can easily pay with iDEAL, Mastercard or Visa Card with 3D Secure. Safe and reliable.
Of course, you can also pay by manual bank transfer. Please include your order number so that we can quickly link your payment to your order.
