For a deliciously fruity iced tea with a hint of spice, try our new Orchard Tea (No.282), with little apples and a yoghurt-lime flavour.
It makes a delicious apple iced tea. The basil adds the hint of spice. Add a slice of lemon or lime for an extra touch of freshness.
Recipe
Put 8 teaspoons No.282 Orchard Tea in a tea filter and brew it by pouring 1 litre of boiling water over it. Let the tea steep for at least 45 minutes. Remove the filter from the pot and pour the tea into a large jug filled with ice. Then leave the tea to cool further.
Slice an organic lime (or lemon) and an apple and add them to the tea. Also take a handful of basil leaves and add those too.
Leave this to stand for at least another hour so that the basil, apple and lime flavours infuse the tea well.
You can now serve the tea, preferably with another slice of lime and a basil leaf.
