Coffee makes the most delicious desserts. Nothing new there. But this super-easy recipe deserves a mention, because it’s more than just a scoop of ice cream served up in a bowl. Give it a delicious twist by experimenting with different types of ice cream, syrup, liqueur or, of course, a different coffee.
Recipe
Place one or two scoops of cream, vanilla or caramel ice cream in a glass or dessert coupe.
Pour a double espresso (for example, from our Summer Coffee) into a small jug. Add hazelnut syrup to taste, if desired. Or, for adults, a splash of almond liqueur, for example.
Slowly pour the espresso over the ice cream and you’re ready to enjoy.
